Alex W. Kisingo - Short Biographical sketch
 

Alex Kisingo is a lecturer in the Department of Wildlife Management at the College of African Wildlife Management, Mweka. Kisingo received his BSc. in Wildlife Management in 2002 at Sokoine University of Agriculture in Tanzania. He then received a Diploma in Endangered Species Management from the University of Kent in the UK in 2004 and a MSc. in Wildlife Management and Conservation from the University of Reading in the UK. Kisingo joined the College in 2003 as an Assistant Lecturer and rose to the level of a lecturer in 2006.

Alex Kisingo is a member of various professional societies such as Wildlife Conservation Society of Tanzania (WCST), Tanzania Bird Net, Mountain Forum and Society for Conservation Biology. His interests include conducting training, research and consultancy in the areas of Wildlife Resources and Ecology, Endangered Species Management and Species Action Planning. He has a keen interest in bird-watching and nature photographing
